Chelsea Football Club is hit with another blow as they receive major Reece James injury news. The Blues captain Reece, has suffered another hamstring injury, with reports indicating he will be sidelined for several weeks. Following this, the player will miss an important clash against Paris Saint-Germain amid the action-packed week ahead.

The setback will force the 26-year-old to miss Tuesday's crucial UEFA Champions League last-16 second-leg clash against PSG at Stamford Bridge. Along with this, the English football player will also be ruled out for the upcoming England international fixtures, with no timeline for his return confirmed, as of now. 

James was absent from Monday's training session after feeling discomfort in his hamstring following Chelsea's recent match against Newcastle United, prompting head coach Liam Rosenior to note that scans are pending to determine the full extent.

It was the right-back’s 10th hamstring injury since December 2020. It also comes after he signed a new contract with the Premier League side, which runs for six years. The player had appeared for six out of seven games for the club and was mostly injury-free this season before this major blow.
