Chelsea fans ensured to take a shot at Barcelona teen sensation Lamine Yamal with their chanting during their team's win against the Spanish club. The Blues ran out 3-0 winners at Stamford Bridge, with 18-year-old star Yamal remaining silent in the game.

Lamine Yamal faces tough Chelsea crowd

In the build-up to the UEFA Champions League clash between two sides, the first encounter of wonderkids Yamal and Estevao sparked a great buzz. Chelsea's own 18-year-old proved that he can cut it at the top level, while Yamal was subjected to chants full of taunts from the home crowd.

The Blues fans targeted the Barcelona youngster with chants of "you're just a sh*t Estevao" as he struggled to create an impact on the pitch. The Spanish winger found himself struggling against international teammate Marc Cucurella, who was named as the Man of the Match after an amazing game.

Estevao's fine display vs Barcelona

On the other hand, Estevao registered himself on the scoresheet with a great solo goal, Yamal failed to contribute, partly because his side was reduced to ten players in the first half. The youngster was taken off in the 80th minute for Dani Olmo.

Santi Carzola opens up on Lamine Yamal's comparisons with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo

Former Arsenal player Santi Carzorla interacted with WinWin earlier this season, appreciating Lamine Yamal for his exceptional start to his career. However, he wants the teen sensation to be left alone without any comparisons with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo:

“Comparisons with Messi and Cristiano are not good for anyone. Lamine must write his own story and be left in peace to enjoy his youth."

Estevao Willian and Lamine Yamal have also said they are not worried about comparisons with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, and that they fully focused on their careers.
