The superstar recently became the sport’s first-ever billionaire player following a contract he signed with Al Nassr earlier this year, as per a report by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

The former Real Madrid player has been one of the top earners in football; however, his recent stint at the Saudi League side has catapulted him onto the exclusive list of billionaire athletes. Meanwhile, the Portuguese icon has revealed the most expensive thing he has ever bought, and it will blow your mind. 

Cristiano Ronaldo reveals most expensive thing he owns which will blow your mind 

Ronaldo, who became the highest-paid player in the history of football with an annual salary of around $200 million, was asked about the most expensive thing he owns during his interview with Piers Morgan. The 40-year-old replied: 

"The most expensive thing? Plane. Global Express.”

The former Manchester United superstar further said: 

"I've had a plane since, it's 13 years old, but I changed one year ago, so it's a little bit expensive."

Ronaldo, who explained he owns the plane because he is not a normal person to travel to the airports due to security reasons, has a net worth estimated to be around  $1.4bn (£1.04bn), as per Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
