During an appearance on CNBC’s financial program Squawk Box on Tuesday, David went on to discuss the effects of social media and mental health. The former English player, as per People, said:
“I have always spoken about social media and the power of social media. For the good and for the bad.”
Beckham continued:
The bad we’ve talked about with what kids can access these days, it can be dangerous.”
The Real Madrid legend said:
“But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well, use it for the right reasons.”
Beckham, while mentioning his kids, further continued:
“They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids.”
He added:
“You sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well.”
Brooklyn is the oldest son of David’s other three children, Romeo Beckham, Cruz Beckham, and Harper Beckham. The eldest brother also stated that he does not want to “reconcile” with his family.
The feud is not new, as the rumors about strained family dynamics have been rife for months. It has also been reported before that Brooklyn has blocked his family from his social media accounts since last month. Meanwhile, in a statement, Brooklyn also claims that he has been blocked by his siblings.
