Enzo Fernandez opens up on potentially joining Real Madrid
Talking with the reporters, Fernandez clearly said that he will have a serious thought about his future with the Blues only after the upcoming FIFA World Cup. He also said that the rumors about him joining Real Madrid are absolutely false.
"No, honestly, nothing. Zero talks. Now we're focused on Chelsea and what's left of the last few games this season and then we'll see after the World Cup," said Enzo Fernandez.
Earlier, Chelsea's boss Liam Rosenior was also asked about the midfielder's future at the club, where the English tactician admitted that he is not sure about Enzo's choice.
"I think I had a great conversation with Enzo at length this morning [last Thursday] before training, not just about his comments, just how he was feeling, how as a team we can improve. He's one of the captains of the club. What I would say is that he made it really, really clear to me how happy he is here at this club, how much he wants to win, how passionate he is for us to be successful," said Rosenior.
Further, Rosenior also said that interacting through translation, could hide so many emotions and things can get misconstructed.
"And he also said that in translation and in emotion, things get misconstrued in what he said. So for me, he's fully committed to this group, he's fully committed to winning here at this football club."
