Christophe Dugarry calls Real Madrid overrated

Former FIFA World Cup winner Christophe Dugarry has claimed that Real Madrid is just another football club with overrated players. While Appearing on Jerome Rothen's podcast, He said that Kylian Mbappe's teammates' are the main problem behind club's recent struggles.

“I find it quite surprising that Real Madrid’s problems are solely due to Kylian Mbappe. At some point, we have to stop exaggerating. If the Spanish don’t want him anymore, they should send him back. Maybe he’ll leave and make someone else happy, I don’t know," said Chirstophe Dugarry.

 

 

He also added, that a number of players does not belong there because they don't posses the required quality.

"But I find it quite surprising, honestly. I think there are too many players at this Real Madrid who aren’t Madrid players. They’re overrated, I’m sorry. I’ve also had the opportunity to play for big clubs. At Barcelona, I didn’t wear the shirt much, and there’s a reason for that too,” he added.

 

 

Kylian Mbappe joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2024-25, and took some time to get familiar with the environment of a new club. But soo, he rediscovered his form and smashed record breaking number of goal for Real Madrid.
