Liverpool's star forward Hugo Ekitike is going through red hot form, he recently played a big role in the Reds' 5-2 win over West Ham United scoring one goal and two assists on February 28.

Although he saw turbulence in his maiden season for Liverpool. Initially, he started the season on a positive note but after Alexander Isak's arrival from Newcastle, made him lose his place from the starting lineup.
But he gave his best whenever he got a chance as a substitute. After Isak's injury in December gave him a big chance to secure his place again in the lineup and he did exactly that.
Although, Ekitike is not satisfied with his scoring form, as he believes that he can contribute more. He also said that he feels good about contributing to the team's victory.
"To be honest, I could score more. I’m not that happy! But it’s not only about goals, it’s assists as well – (on Saturday) I think I gave one or two assists. As long as I can help the team and be involved, that’s the most important. I want to win so, personally, I’m happy," said Ekitike to The Liverpool Echo.
He added that there is a big scope of improvement in his game and wants to reach his best version to help the team.
"Obviously I can improve, I could score also in the last games, I had good chances. So I have to keep working. I want to be the best version of myself to help the team more, because I know I could help more. But it’s always about lessons and getting better. I’ll try in the upcoming games to be even better, score more and be involved more," added Ekitike.
