ISL 2023-24 transfers: Here is a detailed list of all clubs' released and signed players

Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 season is still a few months away but transfers of players have been making headlines of late. The summer transfer window for clubs opener on June 9 and will be closed on August 31. With more than a month to go in the transfer window deadline, clubs have already signed and released several players. With more transfer updates coming almost every day, here is your one-stop guide to all the signings ahead of another grueling season. 
 

Bengaluru FC
 

Signings – 
Slavko Damjanovic is Bengaluru FC's first overseas signing of the season. They have penned a one-year deal with the Montenegrin defender. He made his ISL debut for Chennaiyin FC in 2021 and won the title with Mohun Bagan Super Giant last year.
 

Vikram Singh has joined the club for a one-year contract, the 24-year-old goalkeeper is a Mumbai City FC Academy product and has played for Fateh Hyderabad as well. He won the Islanders' League in ISL 2020-21. He had made 12 appearances for Aizawl who finished seventh in the league.
 

Halicharan Narzary has signed a three-year deal. Narzary made his debut for Hyderabad FC in 2020. He has played for FC Goa, NorthEast United FC, Kerala Blasters and Chennaiyin FC as well.

Chennaiyin FC

East Bengal FC
 

Signings –
Mandar Rao Desai joined East Bengal FC on free transfer. The left-back is a veteran who became the first player to make 100 ISL appearances in 2020.
 

Harmanjot Khabra joined East Bengal FC on free transfer as well. With one-year contract, the 35-year-old will return to East Bengal after seven years. The club is likely to benefit from his prowess in both defense and midfield. The veteran has won the title with Chennaiyin FC and Bengaluru FC in 2015 and 2018-19 respectively.
 

Edwin Sydney Vanspaul has joined the club on free transfer as well but on a two-year contract. He played for Chennaiyin FC for last four seasons. The 30-year-old is capable of playing in multiple positions but his record while defending is impeccable. 
 

Spanish midfielder Crespo has joined East Bengal FC on a one-year contract. He played for Odisha FC last season. He has played for Spanish clubs Ponferradina, Atletico Astorga and Arandina. He scored three goals last season. 
 

Javier Siverio is another Spanish signing for East Bengal FC. He had played for Hyderabad FC for two seasons scoring 16 goals. Earlier, he had played for Spanish teams Las Palmas B, Racing Santander B and Racing Santander.
 

Nishu has joined East Bengal FC on a one-year loan deal from Kerala Blasters FC. The 25-year-old defender has won the title with Bengaluru FC in 2018-19 season. His ability to play on both sides of the pitch will be a bonus for the club.
 

Borja Herrera is another Spanish signing. The 30-year-old has joined on a one-year contract. He had played for Hyderabad FC previously. He featured in five Durand Cup matches as well. The attacker is also capable of taking a defensive role when needed.
 

Odisha FC's vital cog in their maiden ISL title win, winger Nandhakumar Sekar has joined the club on a three-year contract. The 27-year-old made more than 15 goal contributions and ended as the third-highest Indian scorer in the season.

FC Goa 
 

Signings –
Raynier Fernandes has joined FC Goa on a multi-year deal. The midfielder will contribute to a strong India core in FC Goa's midfield which already has the likes of Brison Fernandes, Ayush Chhetri and Brandon Fernandes. The 27-year-old’s role was vital in Odisha FC’s maiden ISL title win. 
 

Boris Singh is considered one of the most exciting young talents. The 23-year-old had played two seasons for Jamshedpur FC. The Manipur-born Boris' pace sets him apart. He can play both as a winger and a wing-back which will make him an asset for FC Goa whenever they want fresh legs on the pitch. 
 

One of India's best defenders Sandesh Jhinghan has joined the club on a three-year deal. Jhingan's arrival will boost FC Goa's defense. Also, he provides more stability to the lineup.
 

Udanta Singh has signed a multi-year deal with FC Goa. The 27-year-old has enough experience in the bank as he has won every league he has been a part of at least once. Also, he has made more than 35 international appearances since making his debut in 2016. 
 

Rowllin Borges joined FC Goa on loan from Mumabi City FC. Borges is expected to bolster FC goa's midfield. The 31-year-old has more than 30 international appearances under his belt.

Kerala Blasters FC
 

Signings – 
Prabir Das has joined Kerala Blasters FC on a three-year deal to bolster their defense. The full back has represented ATK FC, ATK Mohung Bagan and Bengaluru FC previously. The West Bengal footballer will give Kerala Blasters the option to choose him in attacking positions despite his position as full back.
 

Jaushua Sotirio is Kerala Blasters FC's first overseas recruit of the season. He will play for Kerala Blasters till 2025. The 27-year-old has played football in Australia and won the AFC Champions League with Western Sydney Wanderers in 2014.

Mohun Bagan Super Giant
 

Signings –
Mohun Bagan Super Giant have signed 25-year-old Anirudh Thapa for five years. The former Chennaniyin FC midfielder has dreamed of playing for the Green and Maroons. He has won the title with Chennaiyin FC in 2017. He is guaranteed a spot in the starting XI. 
 

Albania striker Armando Sadiku has joined Mohun Bagan Super Giant on a two-year deal. He scored the first-ever goal for Albania at international stage when they qualified for UEFA Euros in 2016. He has featured in several European clubs in Switzerland and Spain.
 

Jason Cummings is another high-profile signing of Mohun Bagan Super Giant. The Australian striker featured in FIFA World Cup 2022 and has also played against Argentina. Cummings has spent some time with EPL side Nottingham Forest. However, he was loaned out to sides like Rangers Peterborough United and Luton Town.

Mumbai City FC
 

Signings –
Vinit Rai has joined Mumbai City FC on a one-year permanent deal. Rai had previously featured in Mumbai City FC's historic 2022 AFC Champions League campaign. He is a product of the Tat Football Academy and has featured in ISL for three different clubs before joining Mumbai City FC.
 

The 21-year-old Akash Mishra's signature has been secured by the Islanders for an undisclosed fee. The 21-year-old left-back has signed a five-year contract until May 2028. He played in U Dream Football Academy in Germany before returning to join Indian Arrows in I-League in 2018-19 season. He made his ISL debut for Hyderabad FC in 2020-21 season and was also named the Young Player of the year by the Football Players' Association of India in 2022. Mishra is Mumbai City's long-term investment as he rose through ranks quickly. He has close to 20 international caps after making his international debut against Oman in 2021.

Odisha FC

 

Signings –
Aphaoba Singh has signed a three-year deal with Odisha FC. Aphaoba had featured in Punjab FC's I-League title win last season. In addition, he has also represented India in the AFC U20 Asian Cup Qualifiers.
 

Laldiniliana Renthlei is almost guaranteed a spot in Odisha FC's starting XI like he did at Jamshedpur FC and Chennaiyin FC. The experienced full-back's role was pivotal in Jamshedpur FC's League Shield win in 2021-22 season.
 

Former Mumbai City FC midfielder has signed a two-year deal with Odisha FC. The Moroccan midfielder is capable of catching the defenders napping with his quick counter-attacks. Earlier, he had played a big role in Mumbai City FC's title win in ISL 2022-23.
 

Odisha FC secured Senegalese defender Mourtada Fall's signature. Fall is the highest scoring defender in the history of ISL with 17 goals to his name. Fall’s addition to the squad is huge as he brings in mountains of experience.
 

Amey Ranawade has joined Odisha FC on loan from Mumbai City FC for one season. The defender rose through the ranks and played a crucial role in Mumbai City FC's ISL 2020-21 triumph.
 

Odisha FC have signed Lenny Rodrigues on a one-year deal. There is an option to extend the contract a year as well. Rodrigues has played for multiple clubs. The midfielder was also a part of the team that won Nehru Cup. The 36-year-old controls the game well and can pull off spectacular passes to catch opposition off-guard.
