Real Madrid will be without 12 players when they face Alaves in La Liga. The Whites will be without Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dani Carvajal, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy, and Eder Militao due to injuries. Additionally, Alvaro Carreras and Fran Garcia will be sidelined as they are suspended. 

What makes it worse for the under-fire coach Xabi Alonso, is that Kylian Mbappe might miss the upcoming game for the Galacticos. Reports have been speculating that the Spanish manager is on the verge of getting sacked if Real Madrid loses its upcoming encounter.

According to a report in ESPN, Mbappe is doubtful for Real Madrid’s La Liga clash against Alaves. The Frenchman returned to training on Friday but has not 100% recovered. As of now. 

Mbappe, who missed Los Blancos’s last training ahead of the clash against Manchester City, was included in the squad but did not play. The 15-time UEFA Champions lost 1-2 against Pep Guardiola’s squad at the Santiago Bernabeu. 

The World Cup winner felt discomfort in his knee during last Sunday's match against Celta at home. He also broke his finger during the match, and as a result, the player was sidelined against the Premier League side. He also had an off day against Vigo following the fracture to his finger. 

Madrid has only won one game in their last five league games, and as a result, Alonso has found his job on the line. Mbappe needs to resume his role and lead Madrid in attack. The France international has managed to find the net 25 times in 21 games across all the games this season.
