Lamine Yamal joins elite list of legends

Before Yamal, Athletic Bilbao's Jose Iraragorri and Racing de Santander's Pombo remain the youngest players to reach the feat.

Jose Iraragorri scored his first hattrick when he was just aged 17 years and 337 days in the year of 1930. Pombo became the second youngest when he was aged just 28 years and 200 days in the year of 1934.

Lamine was at his best against Villarreal, he scored three goals in Barcelona's 4-1 win over the Yellow Submarine. He even cruised past Lionel Messii and Cristiano Ronaldo. Lionel Messi was aged 19 when he smashed his maiden hattrick in a 3-3 draw against Real Madrid in 2007.

On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo amassed his first hattrick when he was aged 22, against Newcastle United in 2008.
