At this point of time, it looks that everything is going against Liverpool. With their bad form and haunting defeats this season already shocked everyone. Another bad news for the Reds comes just before the fifth round of FA Cup clash against Wolves on Friday.

Four players on the bench for Liverpool

Earlier this week, Liverpool picked up a shocking loss against the Wolves on Tuesday, now they are set to cross paths again in the fifth round of FA Cup.

With no fresh injury concerns, Liverpool will have four players on the bench because of prior injuries.

Arne Slot drops injury update ahead of game vs Wolves

As of now, it confirmed that Conor Bradley, Giovanni Leoni, Wataru Endo and Alexander Isak won't be able to play for Liverpool against Wolves.

Bradley is going through a knee injury suffered earlier this year. On the other hand Leoni is recovering form his ACL setback. Endo is facing an ankle injury. Isak has not recovered from broken leg.

In the press conference, Slot dropped a major update on Florian Wirtz's fitness as he revealed that he could appear for a few minutes in the Friday's game as he trained with the team.

“He [Wirtz] trained half and half yesterday with the team,” Slot said in a press conference on Thursday. “What I mean with that is he was a 'joker', you say over here I think, so he made the next step in his rehab. So, let's see where he is today and if he then could be available for a few – a few – minutes tomorrow, in the best scenario," said Slot.

Liverpool's only title hope

Liverpool will hope to win the FA Cup as this is the only chance to win something this season. The Reds are already out of the Premier League title race as they stand sixth in the league standings with 48 points.
