Real Madrid is coming off a 1-2 brutal loss against Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu in the 1st leg of the UEFA Champions League. The team also lost to Girona, helping arch-rivals FC Barcelona move nine points clear of the La Liga table.  

Meanwhile, amid the struggling form, President Florentino Pérez has come forward to provide some words of motivation, highlighting the club's sustained dominance across all sections.

Perez recalled that Real Madrid has secured 58 titles over the past 15 seasons. He made the remarks Sunday during a ceremony honoring long-serving club members at the basketball pavilion in Real Madrid City, the club's sprawling training complex. He said: 

“We come from winning 58 titles in the last 15 seasons”.

Perez added:

“We have formed a great family, the unity of Madridismo is our great strength”.

Perez has urged fans and stakeholders to take pride in the club's continued leadership in international club valuation and prestige rankings, highlighting its unmatched commercial strength even amid scrutiny over on-pitch results. Meanwhile, Los Blancos will travel to Munich to face Vincent Kompany’s side for the second leg at the Allianz Arena the upcoming week.
