Liverpool clinched its 20th league title on Sunday, taking an unassailable lead at the top by beating Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 at Anfield. While it is the second occasion in the last five years when the Reds scripted their glory, considering the victory celebrations were hampered by the global pandemic the previous time, it was a special moment for the Kop all over the world. As the club anthems were echoing in the Anfield, the choirs also sang the names of the heroes who made the day possible. Besides Arne Slot, former manager Jurgen Klopp got the credit for the win too as he was the man who rebuilt the squad and brought all the missing pieces of the puzzle to make it a championship-winning squad. Klopp got a mention from the team's premier forward Mohamed Salah as well.

Mohamed Salah Picks Anre Slot's Win Over Jurgen Klopp's
Mohamed Salah, who was instrumental in Liverpool reclaiming the title, was asked which triumph was more special. Salah picked the current one over the one that was attained in 2020, saying that the presence of fans makes it incredible.
Salah told Sky Sports: "Ah, this is way better, 100 per cent. Without Sadio, without Jurgen, without Bobby, with everybody it feels more special, with the fans. But you know, you have a different group now, a different manager, and you show you are able to do it again - it’s something special.”
He then went on to hint that he prefers his role in Slot’s side compared to his previous one in Klopp’s team, Salah added: “You can see the numbers.
"Now I don't have to defend much. The tactics are quite different. I said, 'as long as you rest me defensively I will provide offensively', so I am glad that I did. He listened a lot and you can see the numbers."
Mohamed Salah has so far netted 28 goals in the Premier League this season. He tops the goalscoring chart by a fair margin and will likely win the Premier League's Golden Boot. Moreover, he will be in Balon d'Or contention as well.
