Torres reportedly wants to continue at Camp Nou despite Saudi interest.

Al- Ittihad are ready to offer €60 million to Barcelona striker Ferran Torres this summer, as per Fichajes. The Spanish striker has been going through a great form and has turned heads in the Middle East.

Ferran Torres smashed 19 goals and seven assists from 45 matches across all competitions for the LaLiga champions. Majorly, he played as a backup for Robert Lewandowski, while also playing on the flanks when required.

Torres began the new season with two goals in two matches already. The player is highly valued by Hansi Flick because of his versatility, and is a pivotal part of the German manager's plans.

However, Barcelona remain under financial restraints and are likely to turn down player sales to resolve the situation. Al-Ittihad are now ready to tempt the Spanish Giants with an attractive offer for the 25-year-old.

The Saudi side are looking to strengthen their attack and initially wanted Porto's Mora for the job. Their €75 million offer for the teenage sensation, however, was rejected by the Portuguese side.

Porto are not keen to let Mora go, prompting Al-Ittihad to turn to Torres. Barca are struggling to register players at the moment, and funds from the Spaniard's potential sale could help their cause.

However, The striker remains settled at Barcelona and does not wish to leave. Meanwhile, Flick also wants the side to keep hold of Torres.

Ferran Torres reflects on another remontada

Barcelona were 2-0 down against Levante at the start of the second half on Saturday, August 23, Before Pedri sparked the comeback with a stunning goal in the 49th minute. Ferran Torres made it 2-0 three minutes later, before Unai Elgezbal's own goal in the game completed another comeback for Barcelona.

Speaking after the victory, as cited by Mundo Deportivo, Torres said that he is good enough to be a starter for Barca.

“I’ve always believed I can be important in this team. I see myself capable of being a starter, and whenever the manager sees fit, I have to take advantage of it. The competition is very high, but it’s good,” said Torres.

Torres is under contract with Bacelona until 2027. With Robert Lewandowski turning 37 earlier this week, and already in the final year of his contract, the Spanish player could have abigger role to play for Barca this season.
