Sergio Ramos might make his European return as Manchester United are reportedly in talks over a sensational move. The Reds might bring the Real Madrid legend to the Premier League following his farewell to Monterrey.

Ramos is a free agent now after the defender announced that he will be leaving the Mexican club once his contract expires at the end of the year. The player has no intention of closing his chapter on his career, and the 39-year-old might be showing off his magic in the EPL soon.

According to Cadena SER, the Premier League side is ‘in talks’ with the representatives of Ramos for his stunning move to Old Trafford. It has also been further said that the Spanish star is keen on the sensational move and is ready for a new challenge before he hangs up his boots.

Ramos wants to stay competitive and stake a claim for a spot at the 2026 World Cup. It comes three days after Monterrey was eliminated in the Mexican Apertura semifinals, after which the former Los Blancos captain bid farewell to the side.

Ramos arrived in Mexico on a one-year contract before it was ended with the club’s elimination on Saturday. The veteran defender then announced that he will not renew his contract with the Liga MX side.

The 2010 World Cup winner and two-time European Champion with Spain, Ramos played for Real Madrid for 16 years, where he won four UEFA Champions League and five La Liga titles. The player left the Spanish giants as a free agent in 2021 and might return to Europe donning a Man United jersey.
