Along with a pool celebrities, consisting of Courteney Cox, Lindsay Lohan, and Ben Stiller, NBA player Steph Curry, and F1 racer Sergio Perez, Trump also graced the men's final of the major tournament.

Alcaraz clinched the first set but fell short of maintaining the grip in the second. However, he recovered from the losing set and built a strong lead in the third and managed to maintain his lead to secure the win and dethrone the Italian from the World No.1 ranking. After the two hours and 42 minutes clash, Alcaraz defeated Sinner 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 to clinch his second US Open title on Sunday, September 7, 2025. After the feat, Alcaraz rose to the top spot for the first time since September 2023.

President Trump sat throughout the two-hour and 2 minute clash. However, while the crowd present at the Arthur Ashe Stadium cheered loudly after the Spanish player's win, Trump seemed to be unimpressed. The Videos of his contrasting reaction went viral on social media, with one of them gathering around a million views and 8,000 comments.

President Trump's presence at the US Open got mixed response as the faceoff started 30 minutes late due to his security protocol.

Alcaraz reacts on reclaiming top place after the US Open win

Carlos Alcaraz reclaimed the World No.1 place after his victory at the 2025 US Open. In the press conference after the final round, Alcaraz expressed his happiness and pride in achieving the top spot, along with winning the Grand Slam, felt even better.

"Well, it's great when you achieve the goals you set up yourself at the beginning of the year. It feels amazing. So, since I got the chance to recover the No. 1, it was one of the first goals that I had during the season just to try to recover the No. 1 as soon as possible or end the year as a No. 1."

 

 

"So for me, achieve that once again. It is, as I said, it is a dream," Alcarz added. "Doing the same day as getting another Grand Slam feels even better. This is everything I'm working for, and I'm really happy to be able to live these experiences."

 

 

Carlos Alcaraz became the third player, after Bjorn Borg and Rafael Nadal to have earned six major titles before turning 23.
