Format of the 2025 Club World Cup
The format of the tournament will follow a structure similar to the FIFA World Cup, but for clubs. A total of 32 teams will be divided into eight groups consisting of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, which will then proceed as follows:
1. Round of 16 (first knockout round)
2. Quarter-finals
3. Semi-finals
4. Final
Note: There will be no third-place play-off between the two semi-final losers.
