Inter Miami have won four out of six matches in the ongoing Major League Soccer season as they are off to a great start. The David Beckham owned side are currently second in the Eastern Conference with 14 points to their name. 

In the last outing for Inter Miami, they were held on to a 1-1 draw against Toronto FC. It was Lionel Messi who scored the equalizer for the Herons after Federico Bernardeschi broke the dead lock in the added time of the first half. 

Inter Miami's 1-0 loss to LAFC in the first leg is the only defeat that they have endured this season. Javier Mascherano's men will be raring to go and overturn their 1-0 deficit, given their home record in the 12 months. 

Both the teams have met four times since their first match took place in March 2020. The visitors have proved to be a strong opponent for Inter Miami as in the last four meetings, LAFC have managed to beat the Herons thrice. The home team will be hoping to win the match and secure a spot in the semifinals of the CONCACAF Champions Cup. 

Lionel Messi has remained Herons' most effective player on the pitch. His goal in the previous match helped the Inter Miami to secure a draw as the Argentine will look to lead the side and register a win against the LAFC.
