Pokémon GO Fashion Week is making its stylish return in 2025, bringing a host of new content and exciting features for Trainers worldwide. Starting Friday, January 10, and running through Sunday, January 19, this event promises plenty of opportunities for players to catch costumed Pokémon, enjoy bonus rewards, and engage in special raids and research tasks.
Event Highlights and Bonuses
Fashion Week 2025 brings a variety of enticing bonuses for Trainers to take advantage of. Players can enjoy double Stardust for catching Pokémon, making it a perfect time to stock up on this valuable resource. For those level 31 and above, there’s also double the chance to earn Candy XL, making it easier to power up your Pokémon.
In addition, the event features increased spawn rates of costumed Pokémon, including a chance to encounter Shiny versions of some fan-favorites. Completing Fashion Week Field Research tasks can further reward players with these themed Pokémon.
Featured Pokémon and Raids
During Fashion Week, several costumed Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, as well as in raids, giving players a chance to catch some exclusive and stylish critters. Featured Pokémon include:
- Costumed Butterfree
- Costumed Dragonite
- Costumed Minccino and Cinccino
- Costumed Diglett
- Costumed Kirlia (with a Shiny variant!)
- Costumed Blitzle
- Costumed Shinx
- Furfrou
- Skitty
- Buneary
- Bruxish
In addition to wild encounters, one-star and three-star raids will feature costumed Pokémon, including the chance for Shiny variants. Players can join these raids remotely using Remote Raid Passes.
Special Paid Timed Research
A special Paid Timed Research is also available for $5, offering a variety of rewards such as 3,500 XP, 3,500 Stardust, a Fashion Week-themed pose for your Trainer, and additional encounters with featured Pokémon. Trainers should be sure to complete and claim the rewards before the event concludes on January 19.
Additional Perks and Fashion Fun
In addition to the main event features, Fashion Week will also introduce a Collection Challenge with bonus XP and a guaranteed encounter with a costumed Shinx. Players can also purchase new plaid-themed avatar items—Plaid Top and Plaid Pants—available in the in-game shop during and beyond the event. Another fun addition is the PokéStop Showcases, where Trainers can display their fashionable Pokémon and earn additional rewards.
