Story Highlights:

Jon Rahm clinched his second straight LIV Golf individual championship in Indianapolis, celebrating in Indy 500 style by pouring milk over himself.

Despite not winning a single LIV event this season, Rahm’s consistency secured him the title, though he admitted the victory felt “slightly bittersweet” compared to Joaquin Niemann’s five-win season.

Jon Rahm celebrated his LIV Golf Championship victory after the Indianapolis event on Sunday. The Spanish golfer won his second straight individual championship.

The 2025 LIV Golf Indianapolis was the last individual event of the Saudi league before the players went for the season-ending team championship in Michigan. Rahm finished in second place in the tournament, but he topped the season standings and clinched the individual championship.

After the win, Rahm celebrated by drinking milk and showering it on himself. Golf analyst Angela Morgan posted a video of Rahm's unique celebration on X (FKA Twitter) with a caption.

"Only one way to celebrate a big win in Indy... MILK! Jon Rahm secures his second straight @livgolf_league individual championship with a final round 60 at Chatham Hills this afternoon! Hear from him coming up on @WISHNews8 tonight!"

With a net worth of $100 Million, Jon Rahm was one of the favorites to win the LIV Golf Indianapolis event. After three rounds, he was tied for the lead with Sebastian Munoz.

The Torque GC Player carded with a birdie on the first playoff hole to secure the title while Rahm finished in second place. However, Rahm has not won a single tournament this season on the LIV Golf, he managed to top the rankings. However, he was the runner-up in four events this season.

Jon Rahm calls victory against Joaquin Niemann 'bittersweet'

Joaquin Niemann finished tied for fourth on the weekend, three places off his sixth victory of the year. The Chilean finished at -17 and saw Jon Rahm, who finished the year with four runners-up finishes, win the individual championship title. The Spanish golfer addressed the difference in Niemann's results and called his win "slightly bittersweet."

The 2023 Champion, fresh off consecutive playoff losses on the breakaway tour, played down his form and appreciated his opponent for "incredible golf."

Jon Rahm said after winning the LIV title on Sunday, as quoted by ASAP sports:

“Still slightly bittersweet. Like I know I'm supposed to be happy. It's a great moment. But it just doesn't feel great to finish the year losing two playoff games. Have a great Sunday today and then hit the pin and an unfortunate moment on the playoff hole… You need a lot of coincidences to go on exactly with the year Joaquin (Niemann) had… He's won five times; he's played incredible golf.”

The European Ryder cupper admitted that a case could be made for Niemann being "more deserving" of the championship win.
