India enters the competition as a formidable team, securing victory at the Junior Hockey Asia Cup 2023 in Oman earlier this year. They stand out as the top-ranked team in Pool C, holding the prestigious No. 3 world ranking.

The group stage concludes with a match against Canada, currently placed at No. 14 worldwide.

How many teams will play in the tournament?
The 13th edition of the Junior Men’s Hockey World Cup features 16 teams, divided into four groups (A–D). They will compete to secure a place in the quarter-finals by finishing in the top two positions within their respective groups. Teams ending up at the bottom of their groups will participate in the classification rounds.
