The journey for India in the tournament begins with a match against the 11th-ranked South Korea. Following a day of rest, they will confront the strong opponent Spain, currently holding the sixth position globally. The group stage concludes with a match against Canada, currently placed at No. 14 worldwide.
How many teams will play in the tournament?
The 13th edition of the Junior Men’s Hockey World Cup features 16 teams, divided into four groups (A–D). They will compete to secure a place in the quarter-finals by finishing in the top two positions within their respective groups. Teams ending up at the bottom of their groups will participate in the classification rounds.
