In an exciting Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 match, the Gujarat Giants clinched a convincing 44-35 victory over U Mumba at the Patliputra Indoor Stadium, propelling them to the fourth position on the leaderboard. The match was a showcase of tactical brilliance and athletic prowess, with Parteek Dahiya leading the charge for the Giants, amassing an impressive 12 points. Despite Guman Singh's commendable effort of 11 points, U Mumba's performance was hampered by a lackluster defense, ultimately contributing to their defeat.

The match commenced with both teams exchanging points, but the momentum shifted dramatically in favor of the Gujarat Giants following Sonu's spectacular Super Raid in the fifth minute. This raid, which outmaneuvered Heidarali Ekrami, Surinder Singh, Mukilan Shanmugam, and Visvanth V, gave the Giants a significant advantage early in the game. Although U Mumba initially displayed resilience, staying in contention for the next 15 minutes, their defense couldn't withstand the consistent pressure.

The Giants' relentless pursuit for points was momentarily challenged by Bittu's Super Tackle on Sonu, igniting a brief comeback for U Mumba. However, the Gujarat team managed to secure an All-Out just before halftime, taking a 20-17 lead into the break.

In the second half, the Gujarat Giants elevated their game, with both their raiders and defenders accumulating points steadily. This strategic gameplay widened the gap between the two teams. U Mumba's attempts at a comeback were thwarted by the Giants' second All-Out, which extended their lead to 33-27.

The final quarter of the match saw the Gujarat Giants firmly establishing their dominance. Parteek Dahiya completed his 10-point game, underscoring his vital role in the team's success. The Giants maintained their momentum until the end, denying U Mumba any points from the match and securing a substantial 9-point victory.

Patna Warriors schools Bengal Warriors by 16 points

The Patna Pirates delivered a spectacular performance in their home leg opener, securing a resounding 44-28 victory against Bengal Warriors. The match saw standout performances from Manjeet, Nitin Kumar, and Mayur Kadam, who were instrumental in the Pirates' triumph.

Unlike their previous high-scoring encounter, this game saw a strategic emphasis on defense from both teams. Mayur Kadam's exceptional tackles on Maninder Singh and Nitin Kumar early in the match set the tone for the Pirates. The team's ace raider, Sachin, then took center stage, breaching Bengal Warriors' defenses, leading to an All-Out and securing a 13-7 lead for the Pirates in the 13th minute.

The Pirates continued to dominate the first half, effectively reducing Bengal Warriors to just three players by halftime. Within four minutes of the second half, Sachin, now the captain of the Patna Pirates, outsmarted the remaining defenders, resulting in another All-Out. The Pirates solidified their control over the match, with Manjeet and Sachin unleashing a series of successful raids. Mayur Kadam, in his season debut, delivered a crucial tackle against Aditya Shinde, leading to a third All-Out for the Pirates and extending their lead to 34-12.

Determined to maintain their momentum, the Pirates continued their aggressive play in the final quarter. Sachin and Manjeet's multi-point raids brought Bengal Warriors down to a single player. However, Bengal Warriors' Nitin Kumar staged an incredible comeback with a four-point raid, briefly halting the Pirates' onslaught. Despite Bengal Warriors managing an All-Out in the game's final minute, it wasn't enough to alter the outcome, as the Patna Pirates sealed a dominant 16-point victory.
