The match commenced with both teams displaying equal prowess, resulting in a 3-3 tie in the 4th minute. The Steelers soon edged ahead, thanks to K. Prapanjan's skilful raid and Jaideep Dahiya's adept tackling, bringing the score to 5-3. Despite Narender's double-point raid equalizing the score at 8-8, the Steelers surged ahead with Vinay's impactful double-point raid, leading to a decisive All-Out that widened their lead to 17-8.
Chandran Ranjit's Super Raid further solidified the Steelers' dominance, escalating their lead to 22-10 by the 19th minute. Although Ajinkya Pawar's efforts for the Thalaivas narrowed the gap slightly, the first half concluded with the Steelers maintaining a significant lead at 22-12.
Entering the second half, Vinay maintained his exceptional form, outplaying opponents like Amirhossein Bastami and Vishal Chahal. The Thalaivas responded with Mohammadreza Kaboudrahangi's Super Tackle and Nitin Singh's raid, but Vinay's continuous raid points kept the Steelers comfortably ahead at 29-19 by the 32nd minute.
The Thalaivas showed resilience with Vishal Chahal's raids and Mohit's Super Tackle, reducing the deficit to 29-24. However, Rahul Sethpal's crucial tackle on Ajinkya Pawar helped the Steelers stay in command. Despite a late All-Out by the Thalaivas, the Steelers had already established a lead that ensured their victory.
