The 2025 Formula 1 season is heating up, and after the dust settled in Jeddah, it’s McLaren who stand tall at the top of the Constructors’ Championship standings. The British outfit extended their lead following a commanding performance at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, proving their resurgence is no fluke.
Maximum momentum was gained by McLaren thanks to Oscar Piastri taking the win, followed by Lando Norris bringing home a strong fourth. Their latest haul marks a total of 188 points for the season, firmly placing them in the first position in the 2025 World Constructors' standings.
This has been a significant change in power, as McLaren are now sitting pretty with a lead of 77 points above their most immediate adversaries, Mercedes, which seem to be going strong in both qualifying speed and race craft.
Even though Mercedes missed a podium finish in Saudi Arabia, they maintained their stranglehold on second with 111 points. George Russell's consistency and Kimi Antonelli's accelerated learning curve keep the Silver Arrows in the mix, yet the gap to McLaren is rapidly widening.
Red Bulls and Ferraris vie for places
Once upon a time-extremely dominant-Force Red Bull now sits in third with an almost 90-point lay ahead of Ferrari, who are now fourth at 78 points. Max Verstappen took back quite a podium finish in the Jeddah circuit, while Yuki Tsunoda was unable to classify, putting Red Bull to the test concerning their depth.
Ferrari cannot be counted out, beginning to show some stability. Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton contribute regularly, even though the car has no outright pace. An epic battle between these two legendary teams shapes up to be one of this season's defining rivalries.
Williams Stands Out in the Midfield
Williams Racing is proving to be one of the good surprises of 2025, having amassed 25 points thus far. Good performances from Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz have helped the legendary squad move up to fifth place, well clear of the rest of the midfield.
Haas, Aston Martin, and Other Grid Games
In the lower half of the table, Haas F1 Team with Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman contributed consistently to their 20 points and a sixth-place position. Aston Martin is still looking for form, sitting seventh with a miserable gain of just 10 points.
The Racing Bulls, with 8 points, lie just ahead. Then, Alpine and Sauber, still searching for an ability to break consistency and development, sit at the very back with 6 points each.
