Damon Hill’s sharp reaction added to widespread paddock commentary on the shock decision.

Damon Hill has dropped a three-word reaction after the disqualification of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri from the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The FIA has disqualified the duo because of excessive rear skid wear on their respective MCL39s.

Lando Norris kicked off the 50-lap Las Vegas Grand Prix from pole position, and Oscar Piastri, on his end, got his outing going from fifth place on the grid behind Mercedes' George Russell (P4). Starting from the front, Norris was able to secure a second-place finish with Max Verstappen winning the race. Piastri managed to jump one place to claim P4.

After the announcement of the FIA regarding Norris and Piastri disqualification, the world has reacted to it. Several top personalities in Formula 1 have had their opinion on it, and Damon Hill has come up with his thoughts on Instagram stories.

"You've been planked."

Big hopes for Max Verstappen

The disqualification has reshaped the 2025 F1 Championship race, changing what looked to be a straightforward march for Lando Norris toward the world title into a three-way clash.

Revised Drivers' Championship standings:

1. Lando Norris: 390 points

2. Oscar Piastri: 366 points

3. Max Verstappen: 366 points

For Lando Norris to claim the championship, he must outscore both Piastri and Verstappen by a minimum of two points at Qatar to prevent leaving the title decision hanging until Abu Dhabi.
