Highlights:

The NMPA (National Motorsports Press Association) Most Popular Driver Award has been awarded to either an Earnhardt or an Elliott for 34 consecutive years.

Carson Hocevar won Rookie of the Year.

Chase Elliott has once again been named NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver, winning the prestigious award for the seventh consecutive year. The announcement was made during the NASCAR Awards Ceremony held at the Charlotte Convention Center on Friday night, where Elliott received an impressive total of 266,363 votes, securing his place as the fan favorite for 2024.

 Top 5 Most Popular Drivers in NASCAR

Ahead of the final voting results, NASCAR released the list of the top five most popular drivers in the voting. In the end, Elliott outpaced notable competitors, including Martin Truex Jr., Kyle Busch, Ryan Blaney, and Kyle Larson, to claim the title.

The Most Popular Driver Award was also given to the top drivers in NASCAR’s other two national series:

The Rookie of the Year honors were also announced for each series, highlighting the rising stars in NASCAR:
