Big Machine Racing driver Parker Kligerman revealed on his podcast 'The Money Lap' that he will be quitting NASCAR before the 2025 season and taking a break from full-time racing. After hearing Kligerman's decision, Jeb Burton motivated Kligerman to keep on racing.

After meeting up with the Big Machine Racing driver last week, Burton learned about Kligerman's decision as mentioned in his post on X. Burton tried to cheer up Kligerman and told him to keep going until he achieved his goal.
The driver for Jordan Anderson Racing even commented on NASCAR. His post on X read, "This sport isn’t fair and hard. It takes talent, money, and resources."

Meanwhile, Jeb Burton also sheds light on how talented and experienced Kligerman is. The Big Machine Racing driver is currently in ninth place with 674 points and has four top-five finishes. On top of it, he has eleven top-ten finishes in the 2024 season.

Parker Kligerman's second-spot finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway
Kligerman recently showed his class on the track at the Atlanta Motor Speedway as he finished in the second spot. With a speed of 171.386 mph and a record time of 32.348, Kligerman secured the sixteenth spot in the qualifying.
In Stage 1, Kligerman finished seventeenth and by the time he finished Stage 2, he saw himself in the thirteenth position. By the time they reached the final Stage, Kligerman showed his driving skills and took the second spot.
The main reason behind Parker Kligerman's decision
On his podcast 'The Money Lap', Parker Kligerman mentioned that the big decision was not taken overnight. He had been planning about this for months and the decision to step away from full-time racing became clearer after the Portland race in June.
He said, "I went for a run and ended up on top of the mountain overlooking the water in San Francisco, and I had this moment where I was like, ‘I think I’m good. I think I want to finish this year out and then see what’s next."
