Joey Logano now has the chance to become the first driver to win three NASCAR Cup Series titles since its inception in 2014.

After winning the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, NASCAR driver for Team Penske, Joey Logano shared a past conversation with his wife.

What did Joey Logano share while talking to his wife?

While driving the No.22 Ford Mustang, Logano locked himself into the Championship 4 at the recently concluded South Point 400 playoff race of the Round of 8. He now has the chance to become the first driver to win three NASCAR Cup Series titles since its inception in 2014.

While talking to Fox Sports' Bob Pockrass, Logano spoke about how blessed he is for this opportunity and a memorable conversation he had with his wife last week.

"I'm just blessed to be in the situation that we're in, right? We were good enough last week to be the next guy to get in, the next team to get in, and we were good enough to do that," Logano said.

"And then, today...my wife, I talked to her and victory lane, she's like, 'Do you believe like, one week ago at like this hour.' I come walking out of our bedroom, and I said, 'You're not going to believe this. You wouldn't believe it.' Here we are, a week later. I told you ain't going to believe this," Logano added.

Logano got eliminated from the playoffs last weekend at the Roval. But, after Alex Bowman got disqualified, Logano got another chance and he made the most of it by winning his fourth race of the season by 0.662 seconds.

I didn't feel like this was a gamble for me: Joey Logano's crew chief

It was quite evident on the track that Joey Logano's No.22 was not the fastest but while managing fuel mileage, he ended up with a strong result to his kitty.

Joey Logano's crew chief, Paul Wolfe was not sure that his decision to keep Logano out during the final green-flag run at Las Vegas Motor Speedway could lead him to his fourth win of the season. After the race, Wolfe said that the team needed a strong result to be in the running for the next race and his decision to keep Logano out was not at all risky.

"I didn't feel like this was a gamble for me. Like, this was because ultimately, a lot of guys had trouble, right...I was just trying to use all the resources I had and the information I had to ultimately just get us the best finish. I didn't really know that it was gonna be the winning call, but I thought it was going to be a call that was gonna maximize points for us, and that's ultimately why I did it," Wolfe said.

Once the race ended, Logano thanked his crew chief Paul Wolfe and also gave him a new nickname of 'Big Ball Paul'.
