Deepika on the other hand struggled on the big day hoping to turn things around at the main rounds. Talking about Ankita she started with a bullseye and a 10 and followed it with 2 9’s and 2 8’s in the first round. Her game was consistent from the first round till the last and similar for Deepika not finding her rhythm.

Lim Sihyeon shot a World and Olympic record to finish the 1st position with 694 points. Meanwhile, Nam Suhyeon shot 688 to finish 2nd. Lim Sihyeon set the pace of the game early with 4 straight bullseyes in the first round. She continued her momentum in the second half adding another 3 bullseyes to her tally, taking a comfortable lead.

India will now take on the winner of the France/ Netherlands match in the QF of Women's Team event on 28th Jul. Medals will be decided on the same day.
