Lakshya Sen will now face Denmark's ace shuttler Viktor Axelsen in the semi-final. In his quarterfinal match, Viktor made it to the semi-finals by defeating Singapore's Kean Yew Loh in straight games 21-9 and 21-17. Since then, a total of eight matches have been played between the two players. In which the Danish player defeated him seven times and Lakshya Sen defeated him only once in the German Open in 2022 in a match that lasted three games.
