After Manu Bhaker's iconic silver medal in the Paris Olympics, Indian female athletes ended the second day of the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024 where Nikhat Zareen qualified for the round of 16, PV Sindhu defeated Maldives' Fathimath Nabaaha Abdul Razzaq to inch closer towards round of 16 and India Table Tennis star Manika Batra also defeated Great Britain's Hursey Anna in the Round of 64 in the marquee event. However, Indian swimmers again failed to perform and apart from them, India's women's archery team also lost to the Netherlands in the quarterfinals. India's Third Day in Olympics will start with Badminton where Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will play doubles after that Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa will feature in Women’s Doubles Group Stage.
