The trio of Anahat Singh, Joshna Chinappa and Tanvi Khanna were unable to go past Sin Yuk Chan, Tze Lok Ho and Ka Yi Lee of Hong Kong in the Women's team.

In a swift match lasting just 22 minutes, Tanvi Khanna was defeated by Sin Yuk Chan with scores of 6-11, 7-11, 3-11. However, Joshna Chinappa leveled the score in the subsequent match, achieving a 7-11, 11-7, 9-11, 11-6, 11-8 victory over Tze Lok Ho.

Despite Anahat Singh's spirited performance in the deciding match, she succumbed 8-11, 7-11, 10-12 to Ka Yi Lee. Anahat showcased resilience in the third game, rallying with six consecutive points, but Lee ultimately secured the win.

In other news, the men's squash semi-final between India and Malaysia is set to commence at 4:00 PM IST. Recalling the 2018 Asian Games, the Malaysian team secured gold, while the Indian men's squad took home the bronze.

Currently, India holds the fourth position in the medal tally, boasting 31 medals, of which eight are gold.
