Indian shooters Sift Samra, Ashi Chouksey, Manini Kaushik win Silver in 50m Rifle 3P Team event as medals continue to flow

India have been in good form in shooting in the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou, with the women's trio of Sift Samra, Ashi Chouksey and Manini Kaushik securing the silver medal in the 50m Rifle 3P Team event. This is the country's 15th medal at the Asian Games as the shooters added the fifth medal in this event for the country.

This is the first medal for India on Day 4, with the team scoring 1764 points to clinch the second spot. The gold medallist managed 1773 points while South Korea got 1756 points to clinch the third spot.

Samra and Chauksey secured their spots in the finals, finishing in second and sixth places respectively. However, Kaushik didn't make it to the finals, ending up in the 18th position in the individual event. Sift tallied a score of 594, setting a new shared Asian record for qualification.
