Story Highlights:

Prichard insisted his Gorilla outburst was about keeping RAW on time, not bullying Chris Park.

The WWE executive also recalled Juventud Guerrera as a “problem child,” citing attitude and professionalism issues.

Long-time WWE Executive Director Bruce Prichard has responded to bullying accusations. Prichard has been working with the promotion for decades and has worked with a number of different talents during his time.

Last year, he appeared in the Netflix docuseries WWE: Unreal during one episode that mentioned RAW's debut on Netflix, Prichard came in the firing line for a viral clip.

The video clip showed him unhappy with producer Chris Park, FKA Abyss in Gorilla, during the live broadcast. Prichard's frustration stemmed from the fact that the show had gone over the limit. He could be seen telling Park that the fight between Seth Rollins was "overproduced."

Park was spotted apologizing to Prichard, and this led to online hate, with some people calling the WWE veteran a bully. Speaking on something to wrestle, Bruce Prichard has replied to these accusations.

"There’s cameras everywhere. There’s cameras around you all day long. You forget there’s cameras on you. It’s live TV. You know who they’re going to come to at the end of the day? If the show doesn’t work, or the show doesn’t go off on time, or doesn’t work, they come to me. Okay, that’s the end of the story, and I’m responsible for it," he said.

Bruce Prichard heaped praise as a wonderful human being and extremely talented. However, he said sometimes it is important to communicate things on time.

"If you are in a situation, man, and you’re at a point, you’re asking a question, you’re not getting an answer, or I’m not getting the answer that I need. If I ask you what time it is, I don’t want to get the history of watchmaking, I want to know what time it is. If I ask you, how much time do we have left, I don’t want to hear we’re getting close. Just need a number. Tell me, help me,” he added.

He then noted that he is responsible for the show being on time and said people who called his actions bullying don't get the understanding of the environment of live TV.

"So anybody that takes that for being a bully or anything else, you’ve never worked in live television, and you’ve never worked in real life, and if everything has to be sugar-coated for you, I feel really sorry for you. Because life’s tough, and in order to make it sometimes, man, you got to be able to take it or get out," he mentioned.
