WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk recently shared an emotional message to John Cena. The Cenation leader will retire after one last fight at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13, 2025.

CM Punk pens emotional message for John Cena

Currently, John Cena is on his retirement tour. This year, Cena has fought with several opponents from his past, consisting of Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and CM Punk. Following Cena claiming a win over Dominik Mysterio to become the new Intercontinental Champion on last week's RAW, Punk took to Instagram to write a heartbreaking letter to the Last Real Champion.

Punk posed a backstage picture that featured Cody Rhodes as well, his message was directed at the 17-time World Champion. He thanked Cena for the countless memories, and their epic rivalry.

John Cena confirms last-ever WWE RAW match

John Cena confirmed that his upcoming appearance in Madison Square Garden will be his last RAW appearance as an in-ring performer. Moreover, the newly crowned Intercontinental champion said that he will compete on the upcoming show, which will be his last.

"Over 23 years you’ve allowed me to have 544 matches on #WWERaw. The most in WWE history. My favorite match.. is my next one! Which will be our LAST ONE! Don’t miss our last chance to grace @TheGarden ring as we say farewell to RAW live, Monday night on @netflix at 8pm ET," Cena tweeted on X.    

 

 

It will be interesting to see which star faces John Cena in his final-ever match on Monday Night RAW.
