A current WWE champion revealed a backstage problem he had with Finn Balor. The Judgement Day interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship fight between CM Punk and AJ Styles this past Monday night on RAW.
Ethan Page reveals issue with Finn Balor
NXT North American Champion Ethan Page appeared as a guest on the latest edition of Sheamus' Celtic Warrior Workouts series on YouTube. During the conversation, Page disclosed that he enjoys having some gummy bears before fights for sugar rush, as it gives him a little jolt before going into the ring.
The champion disclosed that Finn Balor poked fun at him for having gummy bears and called them "jellies". Page then claimed that he thought Balor was a nice man, but that was no longer the case.
"The man said to be right before I went on, he goes, 'Jellies before your match?'. Which I didn't even know what jellies meant. And I looked at him, and I said, 'Yeah, of course. You've never eaten one in your entire life!' Anyways, we don't talk about him anymore. I thought he was nice until I spoke to him," said Ethan Page.
Page is also one-half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions alongside Chelsea Green.
Ethan Page reacts to John Cena's retirement
Ethan Page recently said that she did not care about John Cena's retirement from WWE.
Speaking at a Q&A session shared by Rock n Co Wrestling, the former AEW star said he did not care about John Cena's retirement because he was too focused on his own stuff.
“I didn’t really care. I will say this. I think I was the most John Cena yesterday during John Cena’s day because I was working while everyone was just out there celebrating. Yeah, I had a job to do, so I defended my championship. That’s kind of what I was focused on,” he said.
Ethan Page spent a few years in AEW before joining WWE in 2024. The 36-year-old never won a title during his time in AEW.
