Sheamus is one of the famous WWE stars, appearing for the first time in 2009. The former WWE Champion is currently out of action due to a shoulder injury.
In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, WWE backstage personality Jackie Redmond disclosed an interesting story, where she allegedly slapped the 47-year-old backstage.
"One time I was doing a backstage (interview) with Sheamus and he wasn't feeling it. We had done a couple and he wasn't happy with them, and he was like, 'Jackie, slap me.' I actually got really nervous, I was like, 'No I can't actually slap Sheamus, like I can't do this.' And he was like, 'Yeah, slap me.' I slapped him. It was a b*tcha** slap, it wasn't a good slap, I got scared," she said.
The Celtic Warrior's last appearance in the company came in November 17, 2025 edition of WWE RAW, which was John Cena's last time on the red branded show. Sheamus joined hands with Cena and Rey Mysterio to fight Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh of The Judgement Day.
BIG update on Sheamus's health following shoulder injury
The former WWE Champion has been out of in-ring action for two months now, following he was shockingly removed from the Last Time is Now Tournament. Amid his break, PWInsider has dropped an update on the veteran's condition.
As per the update, the 47-year old has undergone successful surgery for his shoulder and is on the way to getting fit. There is currently no exact date for his return, and it is uncertain whether he will be back in time for the Royal Rumble, or even WrestleMania 42.
Considering a timeline of three to four months had been discussed, a return before the Show of Shows looks impossible.
