Finally after two years of signing with WWE, Jade Cargill secured a championship. Cargill has broken her silence after becoming the new Women's Champion at Saturday Night' Main Event.
After turning heel a few weeks ago, Cargill has created an edge ahead of her title fight against Tiffany Stratton. It showed SNME in Salt Lake City, dominating Stratton to become the WWE Women's Champion for the first time in her career.
In a post on her official Instagram account, The Storm of WWE celebrated he championship victory by calling out her doubters. She posted an image of herself hoisting the title as fans look in surprise in the background.
"You didn’t believe in me — good. Doubt looks great on you. Gold looks better on me. #GoldlsMyColor #andnew #WWEWomensChampion #ToldYallToPutSomeRespectOnMyName #ICamelPutTheSmackDownIConquered #thatbitch #newchampion," Cargill wrote.
It will be interesting to see what is next for Jade Cargill now that she is the new WWE Women' Champion. Tiffany Stratton deserves a rematch after holding the title for more than 300 days. Stratton won the championship back in January and almost defended it for an entire year.
Why did Jade Cargill win the title from Tiffany Stratton?
As per an exclusive report by Sportskeeda, WWE wanted to give Jade Cargill a push. It is the key reason behind Cargill looking dominant at Saturday Night's Main Event, defeating Tiffany Stratton in under seven minutes.
The report also suggests that Stratton has been dealing with some minor injuries and would be given rest to heal up. He has carried the SmackDown's women's division since January, so she is getting a deserved break for her body.
It is uncertain who is next for Cargill, who could also take some break due to filming of True Threat with Jonathan Majors. If she is not on WWE television for weeks to come, the company is reportedly going to focus all the attention on the Women's United States Champion currently held by Giulia.
