WWE's announcement video had 11 stars, who are all but confirmed to be the part of the competition. The 11 names are The Miz, Rusev, Solo Sikoa, Sheamus, LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, Penta, Carmelo Hayes, Bronson Reed, Gunther and Dominik Mysterio.
Cena and The Miz have an old rivalry. The Miz defeated Cena in the main event of WrestleMania 27. Cena got the better of Rusev at WrestleMania 31 to secure the United States championship. Cena faced defeat against Sikoa at Crown Jewel 2023. Sheamus and Cena also share an old rivalry.
Gunther to face John Cena?
Among the mentioned names, Gunther is the hot favorite to retire Cena from professional wrestling. The Ring General retired Goldberg at the July 12th Saturday Night's Main Event and is in line to retire another icon.
John Cena to become Grand Slam Champion?
Dominik Mysterio is also expected to fight Cena before he says goodbye. Their fight could take place at the 2025 Survivor Series. At present, Dominik Mysterio holds the Intercontinental championship. He will most likely lose the title to Cena. Cena has a great chance of securing the IC title and becoming the grand slam champion in the final premium live event of the year.

Cena is then likely to lose the IC championship to Gunther in his final match. The 17-time world champion started his retirement tour at Royal Rumble 2025.
