Story Highlights:

Liv Morgan admits she feared losing her WWE job after being arrested for cannabis possession in December 2023.

The former Women’s World Champion also revealed she nearly debuted under a completely different ring name in WWE.

Liv Morgan feared for her job in WWE following a major incident. The Judgment Day member has become a crucial part of the women's division, especially in the last few years.

While her popularity has soared among the fans, she was at the center of infamy a few years ago. In December 2023, Morgan was arrested for possession of cannabis while driving to Orlando for an eyebrow appointment.

In an appearance on What's Your Story? with Steph McMahon, she discussed her arrest. She noted that someone had left a synthetic marijuana vape in her car. When she pulled over, the cops found it and arrested her.

She then discussed how she was upset and thought that she was going to get fired from WWE.

"Right away, I’m like, ‘I am gonna get fired.’ I am so upset, ‘I’m gonna get fired. I spent my whole life being good. I get arrested one time, and it’s not even my fault, even though it is, but I am gonna get fired,'" she said.

Morgan noted that she thought about how she loved doing community work with WWE, but after arrest, she may not get the chance. The former Women's World Champion said she felt she had ruined everything.

“I am like, so sad, 'work’s gonna fire me,' and I just ruined everything. I spent my whole life for this one goal, and now everything is squandered.’ I was so upset," she added.

Liv Morgan almost had a different name in WWE

During the conversation, Liv Morgan talked about her early years in WWE. She disclosed that she nearly had a different on-screen name.

She said that in NXT, they were questioned to list names that they would want to go by on TV. Morgan dropped a couple of lists, but those pitches were rejected.

Liv Morgan then gave out a third list, and at the bottom, she had penned down the name "Oprah." Eventually, she was given her current name, though it didn't come from her.
