Cena didn’t hold back when praising the newly crowned Intercontinental Champion.

John Cena’s praise isn’t handed out lightly. His endorsement of both Dominik Mysterio and Logan Paul as future cornerstones of WWE sends a strong message.

Seth Rollins may have thought that he is the future of the company after defeating Roman Reigns and CM Punk with the help of Paul Heyman but Newly Crowned and 17-time World Champion John Cena believes differently. The WWE legend backed two other superstars talking about their struggles and journey that how they may become the future of the company.

He recently shared glowing remarks about two rising stars on the RAW roster—Dominik Mysterio and Logan Paul. Speaking during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Cena reflected on their standout performances at WrestleMania 41 and highlighted why he believes both superstars are destined for greatness.

Dominik Mysterio: A Natural-Born WWE Superstar

Cena didn’t hold back when praising the newly crowned Intercontinental Champion, Dominik Mysterio. Having worked with him early in his career, Cena expressed admiration for the young star’s poise and natural talent.

“Dom Mysterio is born for this, period,” Cena stated. “And I got to work with him very early in his career. And I’ve had the chance to work with experienced talent, but I’ve also had the chance to work with a lot of new talent. You can tell right away.”

He went on to compare Mysterio’s effortless ability to WWE legend Randy Orton.

“There’s also those people, like, I remember Randy Orton just making everything look so easy. Dom just makes everything effortless, and he doesn’t crack under pressure. And any pool we’ve dropped him in, he has not only tread water, he’s swimming laps around everybody else.”

Cena believes that Dominik’s true potential hasn’t even been fully unlocked yet.

“Dom Mysterio, we ain’t even close to what that kid’s capable of. He’s incredible, and he’s going to be incredible for the next 20 years, or as long as he wants to be in this business.”

Notably, Cena hinted that Dominik could eventually eclipse the legacy of his legendary father, Rey Mysterio.

“He will be, and I love his dad like he’s another one. There’s a close connection. I love that dude. He will be the most famous Mysterio in professional wrestling.”

Logan Paul: A Phenomenon Who Belongs in WWE

Cena also turned his attention to Logan Paul, who delivered yet another jaw-dropping performance at WrestleMania 41. Despite being a latecomer to the wrestling business, Paul has impressed fans and veterans alike with his innovation and athleticism.

“Logan Paul’s a stud,” Cena said. “I texted him right away after his match. I’m like, dude, you are innovative. From his entrance to holding a drone to thinking on another level of like I’m gonna swing big and try something different. I thought that was dope.”

Cena admitted that Paul’s athleticism has even surpassed his own peak abilities.

“He’s doing stuff that I couldn’t do at peak physical condition. So, regardless of if you like him or you hate him, he’s doing athletic moves that are better or as good as any of the wrestlers out there, any of the trained wrestlers.”

What impresses Cena most is Paul’s unapologetic confidence and authenticity.

“And here’s what I like most about Logan Paul, he doesn’t give two shits if y’all like him or not. He does it as himself, and he’s okay. This dude is a stud. There’s gonna come a time when y’all wake up to Logan Paul.”

“This dude, he got here late. That shouldn’t be a penalty for him. He is a WWE Superstar. He belongs in that ring with everybody else, and I know he’s always going to be himself, but whether you boo him or not, you are going to pay to see that kid, because he is unreal.”
