Ever since Paige's exit from AEW earlier this year, there have been a lot of rumors about her WWE comeback. The Anti-Diva recently expressed her wish to face Rhea Ripley in a special stipulation fight.
In an interview with PokerScout, the 33-year-old spoke about recent experience at the Celebrity Poker Tour. She also answered several wrestling-related queries.
When questioned about which wrestler she would like to fight and the stipulation for the match, Paige named Rhea Ripley, saying she would face the former member of The Judgement Day in an Extreme Rules match. The former WWE Divas champion pointed out that she never got to fight in special stipulation matches like the Elimination Chamber and the Royal Rumble during her stint at WWE.
"It has to be Rhea Ripley. When I was in WWE, we had just started getting the ball rolling with the Divas Revolution. So the matches like the Elimination Chamber and the Royal Rumble and stuff like that was only just starting to happen. So I didn’t get the opportunity to do those, at least in WWE anyway. So I feel like it would be fitting for me and Rhea to do an Extreme Rules match or something like that. Something edgy for us!" she said. [H/T: Poker Scout]
Wrestling veteran thinks Paige will make a comeback to WWE
AJ Lee made a comeback to WWE after 10 years on the September 5 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. In a conversation with Sportskeeda, Vince Russo claimed that Paige would be the next popular star making her comeback.
The wrestling veteran joked that he wondered if Triple H had another bank account that had money reserved only for bringing back the crowd.
"I was thinking about that, bro, I swear to God. As soon as she's done with this, that is the next big pop Triple H has in his back pocket. I wonder if Triple H has a separate bank account that's like just pop money. We're gonna put this away for pop money. Chris [Featherstone], without a shadow of a doubt, that's coming," Russo said.
As Paige has revealed that she is open to making her return to WWE, it will be intriguing to see if it happens in the upcoming future.
