A big spoiler on WWE's plans for John Cena's last fight has been disclosed. The 48-year-old will be gearing up for the final time to fight Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event this weekend.
As per Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, The company may be planning on having Cena vs Gunther kick off Saturday Night's Main Event. Gunther defeated LA Knight this past Friday night on WWE SmackDown to win the Last Time is Now Tournament and secured the chance to be the Cenation Leader's last opponent as a result of the win.
"At this point, there is no set runtime for Saturday Night’s Main Event, so everyone will get all the time they need. Cena vs. Gunther is currently scheduled to open the show and Cena will get as much time as he wants," he said. [H/T: WrestlePurists]
Gunther kicked off this Monday's edition of WWE RAW and dopped a message for John Cena ahead of SNME. The former leader for Imperium vowed to force Cena to submit during his retirement match this weekend.

"For some reason, I don’t think this ends in Washington, D.C. for John Cena. And I would not be shocked if in the midst of all of the happy, happy, joy, joy, [Rock’s theme song] ‘If you smell what The Rock is cooking [plays]. I’ve said this before, it just doesn’t sound right — Cena, last match, Washington, D.C., Saturday Night’s Main Event. What sounds right is John Cena, last match, WrestleMania, Las Vegas.” (H/T - TJRWrestling)
