Kansas City Chiefs will take on Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl 59

Kansas City Chiefs are on the quest to win the Super Bowl for the third consecutive time.

Dean Blandino, former NFL senior vice president of officiating, is no stranger to crazy conspiracy theories about how the league is rigged. But what is so surprising? Even his own brother believes the NFL is manipulating games, particularly for the Kansas City Chiefs and their alleged Taylor Swift-inspired agenda.

Blandino's Brother Thinks NFL is Rigged

Blandino, who is now a FOX Sports rules analyst, made a bizarre revelation on SiriusXM's Mad Dog Sports Radio. According to Blandino, his brother thinks that the league is indeed rigged and is convinced that he signed a document to never debunk the truth because he was once the head of officiating.

“My brother, who is convinced that the league is rigged, that is convinced that I signed an NDA when I left the league office that I cannot tell anybody that it is rigged because I was head of officiating.”

Blandino stated that his brother is a deep believer of all the conspiracy theories that are making rounds and has formed the notion that the NFL orchestrates the game outcomes. Further dwelling on the matter, he stated that the main theory this season is that the NFL wants Taylor Swift in attendance at the Super Bowl, as it would bolster ratings, and hence refs are making calls in favour of the Chiefs.

Blandino Shuts Down the Rigging Claims

Despite acknowledging that the Chiefs have been the beneficiary of certain calls by the refs this season, Blandino rubbishes the idea of the league being rigged.

“There’s no conspiracy. The officials, there’s too many variables, there’s too much going on,” he explained. “It’s the hardest sport to rig when you think about football with seven different officials.”

Blandino also emphasized that if there was a grand plan to fix games, keeping it under wraps would be nearly impossible.
