The much-hyped and reconnecting third season of HBO's Euphoria is set to premiere in 2026. The drama starred Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney and it was very interesting and quite a school-going drama. The last of the second season was in 2022, and there are ongoing shoots for the next season. The cast is extensive with an array of exciting entrants. Among those great names is the NFL icon, Marshawn Lynch, in the fresh and new cast along with his Grammy-winning singer Rosalía and actor Kadeem Hardison.
Lynch on the Role
"I'm hella juiced about the show and getting a chance to work with the people in front and behind the camera. At the end of the day, I'm just thankful for the opportunity,' he added in an official HBO release.
This season also stars Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hebert, Anna Van Patten, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Toby Wallace among others. According to Deadline, it will span a time jump regarding the characters high school experience.
Lynch's Acting Career
His role in Euphoria further adds to an impressive and ever-growing tally of film credits. The Super Bowl champion has previously played himself in such shows as Brooklyn Nine-Nine, 80 for Brady, and The League. In 2023, he showed up on the big screen in Bottoms as well as on TV in Westworld by appearing in three episodes. More recently, he starred alongside Ke Huy Quan in Love Hurts, an action-comedy.
From Gridiron to Screen
After being a master on the field of football, Lynch stepped onto the acting scene. The Buffalo Bills adopted him in 2007 after which he spent a total of three years in Upstate New York and then became a vital part of Super Bowl XLVIII victory of the Seattle Seahawks. Lynch last made a comeback for the Oakland Raiders between 2017 and 2018 and finally retired as Seahawk in 2019.
