Kansas City Chiefs' star tight end, Travis Kelce, has officially announced his return for a 13th season with the franchise. The ten-time Pro Bowler made his commitment clear during the latest episode of New Heights, where he personally addressed Chiefs Kingdom about his decision.

"I love so many people in Kansas City, both in that facility and the community, and it's home for me now," Kelce said. "I don't want to leave that life yet. I put in a lot of hard work and I put in a lot of focus into being the best that I can for K.C. Last year, it didn't end well for us. I just feel like there's a responsibility in me to play out the contract that I initially signed, to give Kansas City and the Chiefs organization everything that I've got, and that's what I'm going to do, man."

 Focused on Another Championship Run
Kelce's return signals his continued dedication to the Chiefs' pursuit of another Super Bowl title. After falling short last season, the veteran tight end is determined to give everything he has in what could be his final year with the team.

"Kansas City, baby, we're back at it for at least one more year; I can't say whether or not this is going to be the last year because I still love a lot of what I do for the city of Kansas City and the Chiefs organization," Kelce stated. "I know I've got one on my contract, and I'm gonna give you everything I got, baby."

Chasing History in the Record Books
As Kelce enters his 13th season, he continues to climb the all-time rankings among tight ends. Currently, he sits third in total receiving yards at the position, trailing only Jason Witten and Tony Gonzalez. Kelce needs just 896 yards to surpass Witten for second place and 2,977 yards to overtake Gonzalez as the all-time leader.

With his return set for the 2025 season, Chiefs fans can expect Kelce to bring his signature energy, leadership, and elite playmaking ability to the field once again. His mission remains clear: bring another championship to Kansas City and cement his legacy as one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history.
