After defeating the Buffalo Bills 32-29 in Sunday night's AFC Championship Game, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are on their way to another Super Bowl. With the win, Mahomes' record against Josh Allen and the Bills in the playoffs is now 4-0. Kansas City now has a chance to become the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowl championships. Mahomes celebrated the victory over Buffalo with his family at Arrowhead Stadium, and they weren't silent about it. In a swipe at his voice, Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes, shared a picture of her husband being made fun of by Bills fans who hung a Kermit the Frog wearing a Mahomes jersey from a pole. Mahomes himself responded with a GIF of Kermit sipping tea.
On Monday, Mahomes' dad, Pat Mahomes Sr., chimed in, too, posting his own message for Bills fans on Twitter.
"Today is a great day to not be from Buffalo...," he wrote.
The antics of Buffalo supporters obviously did not sit well with the Mahomes family. In any case, when the Chiefs play the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, the Mahomes family will be in New Orleans.
Kickoff on Feb. 9 is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
