Patrick Mahomes recently took part in a fun game, where the Kansas City Chiefs superstar was asked to pick sides. The quarterback might be an American football player, but he has his eyes on the other sports as well and it's no secret. While the NFL season has already kicked off, the NBA season is still in its pre-season phase. With the basketball season approaching, the QB had to go through some tough decisions and pick his best.
Patrick Mahomes spills on Lebron James vs Michael Jordan GOAT debate in rapid fire
The official account of the Chiefs posted a video where Mahomes chose some of his favorites among the basketball’s most dominant players. During the rapid-fire player vs player segment, the 30-year-old chose Shaquille O'Neal in his prime over Nowitzki in one of the instances.
The highlight of the video, which caught everyone’s attention, was the LeBron vs Jordan question. The title of GOAT and who deserves to be called the greatest of all time is one of the biggest debates in sports. In basketball, it's argued between the two- Jordan and James.
When asked who he thinks is a better player, Mahomes answered in two words, and it was neither ‘Michael Jordan’ nor ‘LeBron James’. The three-time Super Bowl champion said “No comment” as the video concluded with a grin. Seems like the player wants to keep the answer to himself or maybe he just couldn't pick one between the two; a tough one indeed.
Meanwhile, Mahomes will be returning to action on Sunday as Week 6 of the NFL season approaches. The Chiefs are set to face the Detroit Lions at Arrowhead Stadium.
