Cam Ward seeks his first home victory

Rams dealing with health issues on the offensive line

Cam Ward, the Tennessee Titans’ first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, is all set to make his home debut against the Los Angeles Rams. The rookie quarterback is aiming for his first career victory at home at Nissan Stadium.

Cam Ward’s home debut as the Titans face the Rams

All eyes are on Ward as the victory would place the 2020 Jerry Rice Award winner among the elite group of the rookie QBs. However, this is going to be a tough game as the Titans are coming off a loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 1. On the other hand, the Rams had a stunning win last week. For Ward, the 23-year-old only completed 12 of his 28 throws for 112 yards. In addition to this, he was sacked six times.

However, the former Miami Hurricanes player had some impressive throws last week during his NFL debut. The team might also have an advantage as the opponents are dealing with health issues on the offensive line. It's just a week of action, and the franchise has already lost three starters who were listed as DNP on the injury report. It would be a great opportunity for the Titans’ defensive line to put pressure on the Rams in case one of these, Rob Havenstein, Steve Avila and Kevin Dotson misses the game on Sunday.
