American rapper Cardi B has been romantically involved with American wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who currently plays for the NFL's New England Patriots. After months of rumors surrounding their potential affair, the two appeared to confirm their relationship with a joint appearance at the Knicks-Celtics playoff game at Madison Square Garden on May 12. 

The 33-year-old American star, later in September, confirmed that she was expecting her first child with the footballer, as per a report by Elle. During an appearance at the CFDA Fashion Awards, the NFL wide receiver revealed that he was expecting a boy with the rapper. He later, speaking to People, stated: 

“It’s a boy. That’s enough for me.”

Diggs continued: 

“I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”

Stefon Diggs, who played high school football at Good Counsel and college football for the Maryland Terrapins, was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. During his prep days, he also ran track before turning his full focus to football. He was born on November 29, 1993, and is 31 years old as of this writing. The NFL player became one of the prominent members of the squad and became a starter in the middle of his rookie season. He is well-known for his “Minneapolis Miracle,” which he caught during the 2017-18 NFL playoffs. 

After signing a five-year extension with the team, the wide receiver was traded to the Buffalo Bills in 2020 after two seasons of the extension. Diggs became a key player for the Bills’ squad as well and became the fastest receiver to surpass 100 catches. After recording 127 receptions and 1,535 receiving yards to become the leader of the receivers, he joined the Houston Texans in 2024. He later signed a three-year contract with the Patriots in 2025.
